Organising the most important event of your life can be stressful and exciting, so it’s even more important to get your hair and make-up right.  After all, you will have to look at your wedding photos for the rest of your life!  Your usual hair and make-up routine will not be able to withstand the rigours of your wedding day – all that food, champagne, kissing and crying.  Every bride wants to look like herself, but just more special and gorgeous as all eyes are on you!

Here’s how she can help ...

The first step is a trial and consultation.  This is highly recommended for brides and also advised for your bridal party (although not compulsory).

• Donna will take you through an analysis of your colour scheme, dress and accessories and identify what will suit your skin tone and hair type in line with the look you want to achieve.

• The next stage involves Donna designing a make up look and hairstyle to best suit you and in keeping with the theme of the wedding.

• Donna will then produce the look for you, so you can see exactly what you will look like on the day. She can then make any adjustments and try out different styles until you are completely happy.

• Detailed notes and hair and make-up maps will be taken, along with photographs to ensure accuracy in reproducing the look on your big day.

• You also receive a mini facial at the trial (as with your wedding day), which prepares the skin and helps the make-up last longer, looks more natural and ensures an even better polished finish.  A bit like decorating a room, if you prep the walls well you get a better finish!

• Donna provides expert advice on how to optimise the condition of your hair and skin leading up to the wedding, which includes a tailored skin / hair care routine and product recommendation.  Also advice on beauty treatments.

On your wedding day the agreed look is produced, this time you can just sit back and relax as Donna makes you look beautiful...and takes all the hassle away!

Donna advises you conduct the trial at least 2-4 months in advance of the wedding, this allows sufficient time for any changes to be made to hair or skincare routine and ordering of any additional items.  In some cases this is not always possible, and late trials can be accommodated.  Likewise, if you wish to have an earlier trial then that is fine, but be mindful that your skin and hair condition changes from season to season.
